The Company
Based in the corporate head office, there is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join this reputable organisation that really looks after their employees. The company is based in Abbotsford that have very lovely and modern offices which makes coming into work a little easier.
What does the role entail?
Reporting to the Executive General Manager of HR, you will be responsible for the full end to end recruitment function and provide advice and support on processes, procedures and recruitment related activities. You will play an important role with communicating with internal and external stakeholders, support Hiring Managers and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Screen candidate applications, conduct telephone screens and shortlist candidates for interview
- End to end recruitment across the business unit
- Identify staffing requirements and strategies
- Coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers
- Acquire and source potential applicants through online advertising, social media, word of mouth, brand awareness, staff referrals and develop talent pipelines for future vacancies
- Administer the online recruitment management systems
- Assist with employee on-boarding processes for new hire such as background checks, contracts and letters of offers, ensuring a smooth transition
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience
- Reporting on recruitment metrics such as headcount, expenses and budget
- Coordinate global mobility activities
- Provide operational and HR advisory tasks as required
What experience is required?
- Proven experience in an Internal Recruitment or Recruitment Consultant in both blue collar and white industries
- Qualifications in HR / Business or a related field will be highly regarded but not essential
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, including recruiting for a casual workforce (preferred)
- Proven track record in sourcing and retaining talent
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A professional approach whilst maintaining integrity and confidentiality
