You will be based at their Footscray head office, 1 day a week, with the other 4 days working from the comfort of your own home.
The Role
Reporting the Human Resources Lead, this Senior HRBP role drives consistent, high‑quality outcomes across the organisation, delivering integrated HR and industrial advice, services, and solutions aligned to organisational priorities.
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide senior-level, strategic and operational HR advice across policies, employment legislation, Modern Awards and EBAs
- Partner with leaders to navigate complex IR/ER matters, acting as the go-to subject matter expert
- Lead union engagement strategies and manage key stakeholder relationships with confidence
- Review, develop and continuously improve HR policies and procedures
- Drive organisational change initiatives
- Coach and develop a team of three, building capability across performance, growth and wellbeing
- Act as the escalation point for complex matters, supporting strong and timely decision-making
- Champion a safe, compliant and high-performing workplace culture
- Qualifications in HR or relevant discipline and /or extensive experience in HR
- Proven ability and experience in industrial relations/employee relations in a unionised environment
- Experience leading and building capability in a HR team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and meet deadlines
- Proficient in IT and systems, including Microsoft offices suite and HRIS systems
- A positive and trusted advisor with sound judgement and problem-solving ability
