Based in the corporate head office in Abbotsford, there is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist, with free car parking and modern offices which makes coming into work a little easier. 
 

What does the role entail?
Reporting to the Head of HR - Australia, you will be highly responsible for promoting and delivering operational HR services and assisting with proactive change management initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver key programs while collaborating with a team of experienced HR specialists.
Your duties will include and not be limited to:
  • Support HR leadership in delivering strategies to integrate processes nationally
  • Drive change management initiatives including the digitisation of employment processes
  • Partner with managers to support employee relations, grievances and performance reviews
  • Lead reviews on organisational policies, awards, EBA's, contracts and IFAs
  • Work closely with internal legal teams to provide guidance on industrial relations matters
  • Assist with mobility cases, on-boarding, off-boarding, work force claims and related HR communications
  • Support the seasonal recruitment, training activities, and compliance checks as required
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends that lead to the implementation of improved business process
  • Manage HR inbox, maintain organisational charts and update HR manuals
  • Contribute to HR projects, benefit programs, and continuous improvement initiatives  

What do I need to be successful?
  • Proven experience in a HR Generalist/Human Resources Business Partner/HR operations position within a global environment
  • Degree qualified in Human Resources would be highly desirable
  • Proven expertise in ER, IR, policy, and award interpretation
  • Demonstrated experience spanning both strategic and operational HR functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and exposure to HRIS (WorkDay & SharePoint)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills to collaborate with the Head of HR and Senior Leaders
  • Flexible and a professional attitude with an ability to promote a positive HR reputation throughout the business
