The Company

With a values-led, ambitious and team-first culture, our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior People Business Partner to join their People & Culture team during a period of increased workload. The head office is based in Docklands and you will be joining a HR team that are dynamic and high performing. 


The Role

This is not your typical HRBP role supporting one dedicated client group.
You will work flexibly across the organisation, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and Performance matters, while also providing support across broader people initiatives and priority projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly build relationships across different areas of the organisation and provide trusted, practical HR advice in a busy environment.
  • Lead a varied portfolio of Employee Relations and Performance matters,
  • Provide confident, practical advice and support to leaders on complex people matters
  • Manage sensitive workplace matters with sound judgement
  • Lead and deliver priority People & Culture projects
  • Support organisational change activities
  • Assist with workforce, performance, engagement and other people processes as required
  • Maintain accurate case records, correspondence and supporting documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People & Culture team to ensure matters are progressed and resolved efficiently
  • Identify recurring themes, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Build effective working relationships quickly and adapt to different leaders, teams and operating environments
What will I need to succeed?
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager/ER/IR specialist role within a fast paced and complex environment 
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices
  • A degree or Post Graduate Qualification in HR
  • Demonstrated knowledge with employee and industrial relations including Fair Work 
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and liaise to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Resourceful and have practical common sense
