The Company

Situated in Port Melbourne, we are seeking an experienced Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join an award winning infrastructure organisation. They company have a relaxed and casual working environment, with great onsite amenities such as a full-suite kitchen and gym. 

The office can be accessed via public transport and has free car parking available. The role will commence as a full time temporary opportunity for 3.5 weeks and then will move to a 3 day part time permanent position.

 
The Role 

As the first point of contact, this position will set the foundation for a positive client experience.

Your day to day duties will include but not limited to:
  • Meet and greet all visitors via phone and face to face, making them feel welcome
  • Answering and transfering calls in a professional manner
  • Maintain presentation and cleanliness across the office, kitchens and general areas
  • Coordinate boardroom bookings, mail and couriers 
  • Allocating invoices and raising purchase orders 
  • Document management, filing and achiving 
  • Provide administration support to the office 
  • Order stationery and supplies
  • Assist Directors with any requests 
  
What you will need to succeed?
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a reception/team/office administrator/customer/client service position
  • A genuine passion to learn and build a long and successful career
  • A willingness to be agile and adapt to any changes in the day to day  
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Enthusiastic and a "can-do" attitude
  • A warm, supportive communication style
