The Role
Reporting into the CEO, the Partnerships Manager will be responsible for strategically developing, maintaining and nurturing corporate partnerships. This role enhances the organisations market presence and revenue-generating capacity, by supporting and developing new and external corporate partnerships.
You will also be responsible for:
- Identify, establish and secure new and existing business to business relationships and partnerships
- Ensure partnership strategies support organisational initiatives, program delivery and sustainable growth
- Lead negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, sponsorship and collaborations
- Set, monitor and report on revenue stream and targets, and provide insights
- Deliver high quality presentations, proposals, pitches to stakeholders at trade shows, conferences and events
- Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams to plan and prepare sponsors for event activations
- Manage and mentor the Partnerships Lead to ensure effective delivery of partnership and sponsorship contributions
What do I need to be succeed?
- Proven experience in a business development/corporate partnerships/sales leadership/management role
- Exposure to the NFP, vocational education and/or events sectors would be highly desirable but not essential
- Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen who can think outside the box to identify and develop opportunities
- Results-driven team player, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
