The Role
Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, this diverse position will play a critical part in the provision of high quality and responsive information for volunteers, young competitors and partners. Your main responsibilities will be to support the management of brand integrity, digital footprint and social engagement in addition to maintaining ongoing communication to key business partners.
Other duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop, implement and evaluate the company's communications and marketing initiatives
- Plan and execute media campaigns across a wide range of platforms including digital, social media, events and print based channels
- Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements
- LOADS of stakeholder collaboration in regards to technical, topic specific and general communications
- Assist with promotional material, reports, presentations, grant applications and other marketing collateral
- Reporting on volunteer and competitor engagement status, strategies and emerging issues
- Collaborate with the leadership team, industry experts, external media agencies/ publications and partners to build awareness and promote the company's brand.
- Manage brand communication and affiliated marketing professionals across the organisation
What do I need to be successful?
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Digital/Journalism/Communications/Public Relations (or similar) would be highly desirable
- Proven experience in a Marketing/Communications role managing campaigns and initiatives
- Experience in writing, editing and production of a broad range of grant, submission, publications and media
- Ability to manage end to end marketing and promotional activities
- Experience in WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe Suite (InDesign) and Google Analytics would be highly desirable
- A passionate and positive attitude to represent and promote their brand
- Ability to build relationships and manage key stakeholders with an eye for strategic partnership opportunities
