A new and exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior HRBP or HR Manager to join this dynamic and thriving agricultural company who are located in the heart of the CBD. The Role
Reporting into the Head of Operations, this newly created role offers variety and the ability to make your own. 
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
  •  Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with business strategy
  • Ensure all new and existing policy development aligns with AU and NZ legislation
  • Act as the first point of contact for legal queries and employment compliance
  • Manage the employee life cycle with recruitment, training and development, performance and remuneration management, employee engagement, employee relationships and organisational development
  • Manage and provide advice for workforce disputes, including conducting investigations and following disciplinary processes
  • Champion a positive and inclusive culture through organisational initiatives, activities and programs that foster well being and retention.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders with unions, service providers and industry representatives 
  • Work autonomously to identify risks and opportunities for efficiencies and change 
  • Workforce and succession planning
  
What do I need to be successful?
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR Business Partner generalist role across AU and NZ awards/legislation
  • Proven experience in employee relations, with IR exposure preferred.
  • Worked with training management and/or compliance tools (eg. LMS)
  • Familiarity with payroll systems or experience liaising with payroll providers
  • Ability to build positive relationships, negotiate and problem solve
  • Flexible and a professional attitude who is proactive and eager to work in a startup
