Are you an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable/Payable Officer seeking a fresh contract role for the new financial year?

The Company
There is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Accounts Specialist to provide support to a highly regarded clinical research centre. The organisation conducts first-class clinical trials that deliver new therapies with tangible impacts worldwide. You will be working in their head office based in Camberwell, close to public transport and car parking nearby. 
  
What does the role entail?
Situated within the Finance Team, you will be responsible for full function Accounts Receivable and some Payable including: 
  • Follow up with customers to ensure payment of outstanding invoices 
  • Receipt Invoices & processing payment collections
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices using Xero software 
  • Attend to accounts payable queries
  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Process credit card transactions and reconcile credit cards 
  • Assist the Accountant and Senior Accountant with other accounts payable duties. 
  
What experience is required?
  • Proven experience in a high volume Accounts Receivable and Payable role 
  • Experience with Accounting systems such as Xero
  • Strong accuracy attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organisation skills and the ability to self manage
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
  • Have a "can-do" and enthusiastic attitude
